ReStage at Set & Scene 2026

We are thrilled to join Set & Scene 2026 at Central Saint Martins on 25 April to champion sustainable production design. We can’t wait to learn from industry leaders like BAFTA Chair Sara Putt and see pioneering builds from specialists like Cineco and Vectar Sets.

At 3:30 pm, Sara Turnbull (ReStage) and Ella Nevill (AssetFlow) will lead our session, "Building a Zero-Waste Economy for Stage and Screen". We’ll showcase lessons from our National Theatre pilot and the Get Set Cymru site in Wales while previewing findings from our upcoming report. Join us to help move beyond the "build-shoot-dispose" model and establish a circular infrastructure for our sector.

What we're looking forward to:

  • Cardboard Engineering: Watching the live build by Johnny Mann Scenic Services to see how they cut carbon by 80 percent.

  • The Dye Garden: Exploring plant-based color in an interactive workshop with the National Theatre and Glyndebourne.

  • Circular Strategy: Learning asset-sharing tactics with partners like CAMA Assetstore and Used Creative.

  • Resource Hubs: Sharing our vision for a large-scale London reuse hub to end the "build-shoot-dispose" cycle.
